Clad uses two on-device machine learning models (MobileNetV3 and ResNet18) along with Apple's Vision framework to analyze your outfit photo. It evaluates 6 dimensions — outfit cohesion, color harmony, fit & proportion, grooming/detail, trend alignment, and overall vibe — using a 206-rule fashion scoring engine. Everything runs locally on your iPhone.
Yes. All photos are processed entirely on your device. They are never uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third-party API. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → find Clad → tap Cancel Subscription. You'll keep premium access until the end of your current billing period.
Open Clad → Profile → scroll down to subscription section. Tap "Restore Purchases." If your subscription is active, premium features will be unlocked immediately.
Open Clad → Profile → Settings → "Delete My Data." This permanently removes all scans, scores, and profile information from your device. This action cannot be undone.
Scores vary because they analyze the specific outfit in each photo — different clothes, colors, lighting, and accessories all affect the result. The AI evaluates what you're actually wearing, not your appearance. Small variations (±2-3 points) between scans of the same outfit are normal due to photo angle and the probabilistic nature of ML models.
Clad requires an iPhone running iOS 17.0 or later. The app uses the Neural Engine for ML processing, which is available on all iPhones from iPhone 8 and later.
Yes. All scoring, analysis, and recommendations work without an internet connection. The only features that require internet are iCloud sync and subscription management.
